We love Maru! It's our second time and they have the best pork kimchi soup and bibimbap!

The portions are very generous — one large hot pot can serve four people. It comes with lots of ingredients. You can order a few side dishes to go with it. I recommend the fried chicken — the meat is very tender. However, I wouldn’t recommend the seafood pancake, as it’s mostly filled with vegetables and has very little seafood.

The fried chicken here is delicious—crispy and fragrant with seasoning. The food is served quickly, with little waiting time.

Maru Korean is a really good spot for a meal. The food is tasty and fresh, with the pork being the standout – juicy, tender, and full of flavour. The place has a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly. It’s not the absolute best in Brisbane, but definitely a very good choice if you’re craving Korean food.

Maru Korean Restaurant has become one of our absolute favourites! My partner and I have been here many times, and we’ve even brought several friends along on different occasions — everyone has loved it. The customer service is always exceptional — fast, friendly, and genuinely attentive. You can tell the staff enjoy working there, which makes the whole experience even better. The food downstairs offers a great variety and consistent quality, while the Korean BBQ upstairs is honestly next-level — everything is fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and service you get. Honestly, Maru couldn’t do much more to be more perfect. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great Korean food and an amazing dining experience!

If you love Korean food, you should visit Maru. The best ones. The side dish before main menu was so delicious.

Really nice restaurant! I loved the steak and the BBQ grilled chicken — it had that smoky, flame-grilled flavor that makes you want to come back for more. The BBQ is definitely a must-try! However, I didn’t enjoy the seafood hotpot at all — it lacked flavor and spices, and I wouldn’t recommend it. What I appreciated the most was how friendly and helpful the staff were — such great service really makes a difference. I also love that their chicken and beef are halal, which is a big plus. Overall, I’d definitely return for the BBQ dishes and the amazing service. It’s a warm, welcoming place with food worth coming back for.
